“Two Centuries Of Presidential White House Gardens”At the January General Meeting

The January General Meeting of Williamsburg Area Council Of Garden Clubs was held at the Robert Graves Room ( Aka Williamsburg Room) in the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center and hosted by the members of  Kingspoint Garden Club. The program was “Two Centuries Of Presidential White House Gardens”, presented by  Carmen Hegge-Kleiser. It was a splendid presentation based on the book All the Presidents’ Gardens.  The illustrations and photographs helped tell the stories of the significant first ladies, gardeners, and landscape architects that caused the White House gardens to evolve!  A great deal of good trivia, too.
